George & Jean Holzapfel are 2010 Honored Guests

Honored Guests

George & Jean Holzapfel have been active participants and strong supporters of the Tallahassee Scottish community for over 20 years.  Each has served in virtually every capacity and in every position in the Tallahassee St. Andrew Society.  “George & Jean have been the first to stand up, volunteer, or to provide personal and financial support to every event or activity for as long as I can remember,” remarked Festival President Keiff Lindsey.  “It’s about time they were recognized for their contributions and their love for all things Scottish,” said Lindsey.

Tallahassee Festival Announces Honored Clan

The Tallahassee Highland Games & Celtic Festival is pleased to announce that the 2010 Honored Clan is Clan Henderson. “We have several members of Clan Henderson who are active members of the St. Andrew Society of Tallahassee and the Games Council,” said Festival President Keiff Lindsey, “all of whom have made tremendous contributions over the years.”

“Perhaps the primary reason we chose Henderson,” concluded Lindsey, “is to honor our dear friend Al Henderson who passed away last year.”
